Expanded academic, behavioral, executive functioning, and independence support for students across Resource Room Learning Center and Pathways Academy

At Resource Room Learning Center, our work has always been about more than helping students finish an assignment.

Yes, academics matter. Reading matters. Writing matters. Math matters. Test preparation matters. But for many students, especially neurodiverse learners, success in school depends on more than the subject in front of them.

A student may understand the material but struggle to start the task.

A student may be capable of learning but have difficulty with transitions, frustration tolerance, organization, attention, communication, or emotional regulation.

A student may be bright, curious, and full of potential, but still need support with the surrounding skills that make learning possible.

That is why we are excited to announce a new partnership between Resource Room Learning Center and POPS ABA.

This partnership adds another meaningful layer of support for students and families across Resource Room Learning Center, Pathways Academy, and our private education offerings.

Why This Partnership Matters

Families often come to us because their child needs academic help. But once we begin working with the student, we often see a bigger picture.

Sometimes the challenge is not only reading comprehension. It is attention, stamina, or working memory.

Sometimes the challenge is not only math. It is frustration tolerance, task initiation, or confidence.

Sometimes the challenge is not only completing schoolwork. It is organization, planning, communication, or independence.

For students with autism, ADHD, executive functioning challenges, anxiety, learning differences, or social communication needs, academic growth and behavioral growth are often connected.

That is where this partnership becomes so important.

By working with POPS ABA, Resource Room is creating a more coordinated support model for students who need help not only with academics, but with the real-life skills that help them access learning more successfully.

Too often, families are left trying to coordinate everything themselves. One provider handles academics. Another handles behavior. Another may focus on executive functioning or social skills. Everyone may be doing good work, but the pieces are not always connected.

Parents are then left trying to translate between providers, manage recommendations, and figure out how to apply those strategies in real educational settings.
